Union Depot, El Paso, Texas
Union Depot, El Paso, Texas
The building is the Union Depot, which was built in 1905-1906 by Daniel Burnham in this neoclassical Revival style. In order to build the station, six American railroad companies and the National Railway of Mexico pooled their resources, thus making El Paso the first international station in the United States, with service to and from Mexico.
