Carvings of Spaniards on Cortez Building
The picture shows parts of the decoration of the Cortez building. Designed by Henry C. Trost and opened in 1926, the building represents the Spanish Colonial Revival Style popular at that time. These carvings of Spaniards on the exterior walls reflect that style to this day.
