William D. Slider Middle School
William D. Slider Middle School is a year-round school and offers a middle school curriculum designed to foster academic and social development. Every grade level has a core curriculum of math, science, social studies, and English/Language Arts. P.E. is offered at all grade levels and electives such as band, tennis, orchestra, graphic arts, media, and theater arts also are available. Bilingual (ESL) education is available for qualifying sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Health is taught as an elective at the 7th grade level. Computer literacy, communication applications, and gateway to technology are offered as electives to different students depending on grade level.
