Specialist Rafael Hernando III Middle School opened in 2007. The school temporarily housed Chester E. Jordan Elementary School students and staff while their permanent campus was constructed and completed during the summer of 2009. The school is located at 3451 Rich Beem Blvd. in the heart of the district's fast growing El Dorado feeder pattern. Hernando Middle School serves students from Hurshel Antwine, Chester E.
