Alfred Kleyhauer, Carnegie Library 1910 - El Paso, Texas
Alfred and Annie Kleyhauer, my grandparents, lived in El Paso mid-1909 to June 1911. Alfred showed their Dalmatian dog in the Nov 1910 El Paso Kennel Club Dog Show and took Second Place. Here he is on the lawn in front of the Carnegie Library sometime in 1910. Annie and Alfred lived at 417 N. El Paso St., which was across the street from Cleveland Square, on the SW corner of W. Franklin Ave and N. El Paso St, the second house in from the corner. Today it is a parking lot.
