Robert R. Rojas Elementary School
Robert R. Rojas Elementary School is named after former trustee, Mr. Robert R. Rojas. He joined the SISD Board as a trustee in 1968. During his early years, he worked diligently to establish a bilingual program to ensure Spanish speaking children could learn English. Aside from promoting equity in students' educational experiences, he also focused on providing quality facilities and better salaries for teachers. The school celebrated its 25th anniversary on September 26, 2012.
