"La X de Juárez" by Sebastian
“La X de Juárez” – This piece made of iron and acrylic enamel, is a 60 ¼ x 59 1/146 x 35 7/15 in. scale sculpture, exhibited at “Knot the Art of Sebastian”, presented from February 24 thru June 5, 2016 by The Consulate General of Mexico, El Paso Museum of Art and Fundación Sebastian. The original 210 ft. high monumental piece, is located at “La Plaza de la Mexicanidad” in Ciudad Juárez. Among many other meanings, it represents the crossroads and the mixture of native and Spanish culture.
