Plaza Hotel from Mesa Street
Hotel Plaza de Mesa Street
Plaza Hotel from Mesa Street
The picture captures the Plaza Hotel from Mesa Street. With its Art Deco Style, especially the red bricks and the copper pyramid roof, it is still one of the most impressive buildings downtown. Originally it was built as the Hilton Hotel in 1929 by the architectural firm Trost & Trost. In front, one can see the Kress building, popular for its remarkable exterior decoration.
