@ Zenaida, some googling told me that this hospital was also known as the Albert Baldwin Hospital. I googled that and found the address 1901 Grandview. It either doesn’t have an image recorded on google maps or, it has been torn down/remodeled.
My husband was born at the Saint Joseph maternity in 1963. What is the physical address? And is this building still there?
My mother was born at this hospital in 1946.
I worked there for about a year, 1963, on the 3rd floor. Mainly geriatric at that time, but we also had two active tuberculosis patients while I was there.

The hospital is no longer there it was torn down decades ago and something else is now built on the site
March is Women's History Month.
I was also born at St. Joseph's Maternity Unit, in January 1967. Thank you for the address. I'm a military veteran (former Air Force aviator) and bilingual keynote speaker. I have been curious to know how from the border I was born (I reference this in my keynotes everywhere I speak - CaptainMama.com). I appreciate the address. Do you know what MONTH in 1967 the unit was closed?
In 1957, St. Joseph Hospital was located at 1901 Grandview Ave. It had been a medical facility for many years prior to being run by the Sisters of St. Joseph. That same year, St. Joseph's Maternity Unit was at 1001 N. Kansas and was a part of Hotel Dieu Hospital. The maternity unit was established about 1941, and closed in 1967. This is probably where you were born. A good book to look at is The Caregivers, El Paso's Medical History 1898-1998, by Barbara Funkhouser.
I was born at St. a Joseph's maternity in 1957. Is this the same place? My mother lived in Juarez Chihuahua. WHAT WAS he address of this place?
