View towards Juárez

View towards Juárez

The lower half of the picture shows downtown El Paso. The streets S Oregon (to the right) and S Mesa (to the left) are clearly visible. The former Plaza Hotel, which operated until 1990, is in the lower right corner. In the middle of the image the border to Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is visible, including two of four international bridges which connect the two cities, the Paso del Norte Bridge (right) and the Stanton Street Bridge (left). The upper half of the image shows Ciudad Juárez.
