Aguacero is a 45-ft tall abstract steel sculpture evoking an El Paso desert rain shower. Aguacero was commissioned as a welcoming gateway for commuters traveling northbound into El Paso. Artist: Sebastian Sebastián (born 1947) is considered Mexico's foremost living sculptor. He is best known for monumental structures constructed in painted iron or concrete, seen in cities throughout the world, from Mexico City to Osaka, Japan.
