Aztec Calendar

The Aztec Calendar in downtown El Paso is one of three replicas of the original Aztec Calendar of ancient Tenochtitlan. The Aztec Calendar Park has been its home for more than 50 years. It was made from a cast of the original Aztec Calendar and was presented to the city by Petroleos Mexicanos, a Mexican state-owned petroleum company. The original Aztec Calendar Stone is exhibited in the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City.
