Library Honors Sgt. Apuan at Pebble Beach
El Paso Public Library Information Senior Specialist Chuck Apuan on the 18th tee at Pebble Beach golf course in Monterey, CA. Played a round in his son's honor (Sgt. Matthew Stephen Apuan, who was born several miles from the course), in September 2007. Matthew died in Iraq in February of 2007. Also playing with Chuck was Mike Payan and Dane Aguilar (librarians at EPPL) and Jack Galindo, who also works at the library regarding public relations.
