Scotty Halverson and motorcycle, about WW I
Scotty Halverson came to El Paso as a soldier during World War I. He settled here after the war, and ran the Ft. Bliss water system. He and his wife lived on Pendale Road in the Lower Valley. This photo was taken in the desert near Ft. Bliss - those are the Franklin Mountains in the background.
