The Masonic Temple was built in 1912 and demolished in 1968. Mr. Henry C. Trost was the architect. The material of the walls was brick and the foundation was built with concrete. The costs of the building amounted 125,000 $. The location of the fraternal lodge was 602 North El Paso Street at Missouri and Oregon streets, El Paso. The Mason community in El Paso became active in 1870, when Masons Gaylord Judd Clarke and A.J. Fountain helped to found St. Clement's Episcopal Mission, the first Protestant church in the county.
