Rescue Mission, 1949 W. Paisano - El Paso, Texas
Rescue Mission, 1949 W. Paisano - El Paso, Texas
Another picture duplicating a scene from Route 66. When that TV episode was filmed, this site was not the Rescue Mission but, rather, Western Cottonoil [sic] Co., and the street was Doniphan in El Paso, Texas. Some years after that, the company went out of business and Paisano was lengthened to include that part of Doniphan as far north as Executive Center Blvd. Building and silo demolished circa 2017 due to expansion of I 10 and completion of transportation loop.
