Sun Metro’s new rapid transit system, BRIO, will start service on its Mesa Street corridor on Monday, Oct. 27. Buses will run every 10 minutes during peak service and 15 minutes during off-peak times Monday through Friday. The BRIO buses have three doors, free Wi-Fi, two TV monitors for passenger information, three interior bicycle racks, two wheel-chair positions and signal prioritization. Work on the entire Mesa corridor should be completed by February. The project costs $27.1 million, with $13.5 million coming from the Federal Transit Administration. http://www.elpasoinc.com/news/business_announcements/article_41f5043a-4a4b-11e4-914e-0017a43b2370.html
