Angelina Virginia Winkler - El Paso, Texas

Angelina Virginia Winkler - El Paso, Texas

Angelina Virginia Winkler wrote the book Texas Hood's Brigade. The identification came from her great-granddaughter. Probably it was wrongly identified as Dinny Breese because it was a photographic copy made at the Samuel Fant Studio as an order for Dinny Breese. Information came from UTEP Library Special Collections.

This photo is incorrectly identified. It is not Dinny Breese but her grandmother, Angelina Virginia Winkler. Angelina Winkler wrote the book Texas Hood's Brigade. The identification came from her great-granddaughter. Probably it was wrongly identified as Dinny Breese because it was a photographic copy made at the Samuel Fant Studio as an order fro Dinny Breese.
