Miss Merle Garner

The photograph shows Miss Merle Garner. She was the swimsuit model for Popular Dry Goods Co. in 1928. The Popular Dry Goods Co. store chain was founded by Adolph Schwartz. It was family owned and run from 1902 to 1995. The store was located in the Popular Dry Goods building, which was located at 301 San Antonio since 1917.
