Jennifer Han IBF Featherweight World Champion
On September 19, 2015 at the Don Haskins Center. Jennifer Han made El Paso Boxing History by becoming the first world title champion ever to come out of El Paso Texas. "El Paso's Sweetheart" fought in front of her family, friends, and the community that has always supported her throughout her career. Han dominated the fight from beginning to end in winning the International Boxing Federation world featherweight championship over Helen Joseph, who is originally from Nigeria but now lives in Ghana. The scorecards of the judges reflected as much — 97-92, 98-92, 98-91. Quote from Jennifer Han September 19, 2015 -"I didn't win this," Han said "We all won this." Han vs Joseph - Fight Inc/Fresh - With Jennifer Han
This is a group photo of the Fight inc/Fresh on Monday team that put on Jennifer Han's IBF Featherweight World Title Fight September 19, 2015 at the Don Haskins Center. This Idea came to birth after both these companies went to watch Jennifer Han fight for the intercontinental belt in early 2015. After the fight Rico Velez, April Balcorta, Xavier Vazquez, and Roman Robles went to the Chicos Tacos on dyer for dinner, When April Balcorta preposed the idea of making the IBF title fight a reality in El Paso. The irony of the story is Jennifer Han ate at that same Chicos Tacos early that night with her family to celebrate her win.
