Dale & Wayne Resler - 1976
Dale wanted to go see his Las Vegas Ranch, so he called his friend Harry Graham to see if he would like to take a trip. Of course he did. Wayne showed them everything new that had happened at the ranch since the last trip, and Wayne and Dale had a good picture taken of them together beside the "mighty Rio Grande River." This was the last picture that Dale had taken. The next day he was taken to the hospital with a bad cough that they thought might be pneumonia. Three days later, Dale passed away unexpectedly and quietly.

Nona Resler - 97th Birthday - 1998
"We were invited to the birthday party at Camp Dale Resler, however, it was emphasized that we should not arrive until 11:00 o'clock. Not being sure how long it would take us to get to the camp, we arrived early, so we waited outside the gate until precisely 11:00 a.m. Then we found out why the precise time was designated." "Just inside the gate, lots of boy scouts had lined up all along our road, waving as we passed by, all the way to the lodge where the birthday party was to take place!"
