Dudley Elementary School - 1920's
Photograph of Dudley Elementary School in El Paso, Texas in the 1920's. Dudley Elementary School was opened in 1925 and stopped taking students in 1947. The school was located in Kern Place bounded by North Kansas, Robinson, Boston, and Campbell Streets. Because of unstable soil underneath, the building began slipping downhill. It was declared unsafe for students soon after the graduation of the Class of 1948, the remaining students were then transferred to the new Mesita School.
