David Ochoa

Main Event: Heavyweights - David Ochoa, El Paso vs Randy Cobb, Abilene. Southwest Full Contact Kickboxing - April 18, 1975. The venom started in the dressing room Cobb surprised me. He pushed me back, I then bulled Cobb back and got back under Cobb's arm's pushing Cobb off. Last thing I remembered was Cobb looking okay "Hoss lets go put on a good show". When the fight started I met Cobb with an explosive spinning back kick which found it's mark on Cobb's chest. Then with lighting speed I threw knuckle punch's right, left, right, left with as much danger as Cobb's very deadly kicks. Cobb returned a punch or two but was too slow--deadly if it caught any part of my body. I continued to attack--but Cobb would not go down from the power of my fist slamming into Cobb's left jaw. I was bewildered -- Cobb's strong will would not let him go down. Then Cobb fell on both knees from a well executed back fist my me with lots of force -- then the bell rang and the fight was over.
