Exiting a WWII era plane, the Stinson V-77, which ferried jumpers to altitude for many years in the area. This taken over West Texas AIrport out between Horizon City and Americas Ave. back in the early to mid 80's.
5-way skydive over the old McCombs Drop Zone, known in the early 60's as Rattlesnake Flats. This photo was around 1978 and the beginnings of Chaparral, NM. can be seen in the background.
Allowed access to take off from Holloman AFB in Alamogordo, skydives were made over the edges of White Sands National Monument creating an unusual background. c. 1983
