Inducted in 2006 Served the baseball community as an umpire and administrator He was a man on top of every problem Served in the United States Army during World War II Renowned Softball Player in the Airline leagues and the Industrial Softball League earning multiple All Star and Most Valuable Player honors Served on the Amateurs Athletic Association Board Served as Director of El Paso Parks and Recreation from 1956 to 1966 Served on the Board of Directors of the El Paso Umpires Association Inducted in the El Paso Softball Hall of Fame in 1967 Inducted in the International Softball Hall of Fame in 1971 Inducted in the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986 Served as President for the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in 1973 Served on Original Board of Directors for El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988 Served as Secretary for El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame until his passing in 2000 His service on the El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame is one of the reasons for its growth and success
