Cathedral High School Potpourri by Rene Valenzuela - El Paso, Texas. This is the photograph of El Paso High School in the background. Image taken for the first football game of Cathedral's 2016 season. El Paso High School (.R.R Jones Stadium) is usually the borrowed home field for Cathedral's football season. Cathedral High School is situated in a two block area landlocked in Central El Paso with no place to put any more desks or student for that matter. For Cathedral, a very small school of about 500 students we get students from all over town (city of El Paso population of about or close to one million diversafied "Hentes", from as far away as Ciudad Juárez,Chihuahua, Estados de Mexico, about a stone throw across the mighty "Rio Bravo" or the Rio Grande. Thats the river that cuts across the lower boundaries of Texas and the city of Juarez, Mexico. At times we have had students from Anthony, Canutillo, Las Cruces and Chaparral, New Mexico all sorounding towns around El Paso, Texas USA, to include students from Clint, Fabens, and Tornillo.Texas.
