Household Furniture Store groundbreaking with Jaffees
The groundbreaking for the new Household Furniture Company took place in 1984 at 7798 North Loop Road. This photograph depicts the three generations of Jaffees in the business: Mike Jaffee (grandson), Al Jaffee (grandfather), and Dick Jaffee (father). While that location is not used for Household Furniture today, the thriving business has two locations and is still run by Mike Jaffee -- one at 7601 North Loop and another in Horizon City.
