Train on its Way to Alamogordo

Since the railroad had been built in El Paso in 1882, the city was an important stop, connecting the East with the West of the United States. Goods were brought in, processed and distributed to locations in the U.S. or in Mexico. Passengers were transported as well. The train in the image leaves to Alamogordo.
