Pebble Hills High School is the newest high school in the Socorro Independent School District. The campus officially opened its doors on July 1, 2015 serving 9th and 10th grade students. The mascot for Pebble Hills High School is the Spartan. The school colors are teal and desert orange. Chester E. Jordan Elementary School - El Paso, Texas

Chester E. Jordan was an honorable man who served his country for 30 years in the United States Army rising to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four before retiring in 1980. Over the period of his commendable service, he was decorated with the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, German Occupation Medal, and Korea and Vietnam Campaign Ribbons. Chester E. Jordan Elementary stakeholders will work hand in hand to emulate Mr. Jordan's desire to succeed in life.

James P. Butler Elementary School - El Paso, Texas

Located at 14251 Ralph Seitsinger, the elementary school was named after James P. Butler, a physical education teacher, athletic coach, and an adaptive physical education teacher in the special education department in SISD. He worked at Socorro Middle School and Robert R. Rojas Elementary School. He launched many programs to benefit SISD students in athletics and special education. He began a swimming program designed to teach 3rd graders how to swim, created the Physical Education Showcase Day, led Rojas Elementary to be a national model in Project FIT America school, and was a driving force in orchestrating and improving the Special Olympics each year. SSG. Manuel R. Puentes Middle School - El Paso, Texas

Located at 3216 Tim Foster, the middle school was named after Manuel R. Puentes, who attended Socorro School and was a 1969 graduate of Socorro High School. Puentes was raised in the City of Socorro with his family of 15 brothers and sisters. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. In 1971, the patrol unit he served in was ambushed in South Vietnam and Puentes went missing in action. Several years later the Army classified him as killed in action. Sun Ridge Middle School

Sun Ridge Middle School is located in far east El Paso and is a proud member of the Socorro Independent School District. Sun Ridge Middle School opened its doors April of 2001 with 5th and 6th grade sections. That same year, the school was recognized for its academic achievement by the Texas Education Agency. Sun Ridge now serves students in grades 6-8 and feeds into Pebble Hills High School. Cactus Trails

Cactus Trails, home of the Diamondbacks, serves some 900 students from Pre-K to 5th grade in the Pebble Hills feeder area. The school opened at the start of the 2019-20 school year under the leadership of Leslie Thomas. SISD celebrated its completion with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 9, 2019 at the school. Sgt. Jose F. Carrasco Elementary School

Sgt. Jose F. Carrasco Elementary School, home of the Buffalo, is Team SISD’s 48th campus. The school serves pre-k through fifth-grade students and is located at 14900 Tierra Mirage, in far East El Paso. The state-of-the-art facility was built with savings from Bond 2011.
